Can your system capture facial animation?

Not yet. We plan adding facial motion capture in future releases, but our current focus is on bringing full-body motion capture to the market.

Do I need an HD (high definition) camera to capture animations with iPi Desktop Motion Capture™?

You can use a 640x480 or 320x240 camera. Higher resolution improves results but not dramatically. HD camera will be useful in future versions after we implement facial motion capture.

Is your technology real-time?

Not yet. You should first record a video and then iPi Desktop Motion Capture™ processes it offline. Processing typically takes 5 to 15 seconds per frame (depending on your video card and your CPU).

How do I record multi-camera video using webcams and a PC?
