I am very pleased with the overall stability of Ipi recorder, as for Ipi Studio last beta, I have few better
results now ,.I can track part of my movements with 3 cameras( didn't go for 4 cameras yet), nevertheless
the beta still crashes a lot and I am sure those issues are being solved
I am looking forward, and I dare to say , prettty much everyone , to the next release of it.
please take a look at this result below.I think I am more confortable with automatic calibration , and as far as tracking is concerned,
when it crashes I try to use Hires Refit pose (not hi res track) to help me.
But I think this beta is making possible to us , to notice how good this software will be for our mocap productivity.

Much of your test looks pretty good. I noticed that at certain points, the tracker got confused where your legs cross, and it switched your legs. This sort of thing should be correctable in iPi when Supervised Tracking is improved. (Hopefully soon!) :)

Thanks for sharing this video.

I can confirm that the problem with incorrect leg recognition is pretty common for current version. Fortunately, it is easy to correct manually. The problem is caused by incorrectly recognized pose when legs are positioned close to each other. Typically, this makes around 5% of frames or less. So the approach is:

1) Identify the first frame when pose is incorrectly recognized;
2) Correct it manually;
3) Automatic track forward from that frame;
4) You may need to repeat the above after 15-20 frames.

It is possible that in future versions of iPi Studio we will invent a way to fix this kind of problems automatically. For now, it still requires manual intervention.

Current version is know to crash on Vista when Vista shows a UAC message. This will be fixed in future versions.

If you noticed crashes in some other situations, can you please post a more detailed description.

Thank you for the feedback, everyone.
I also apreciated the tip from Michael ,about correcting the cross-legs tracking in this last beta version.
I will track again correcting it ,asI really wasn't aware of this.Good news if next version will have also,
Supervised tracking. this will will really be awesome.
